Upper Derwent Valley

Visit the three reservoirs – Howden. Derwent and Ladybower. Often described as “The Lake District of the Peak”. The reservoirs are surrounded by forests, farmland and stunning moorland scenery. There are several circular walks around the Dams and it is possible to cycle around the reservoirs. The Reservoirs are about 4 miles away from Pond View Cottage and can be reached by car in 10 minutes.
